WARRANTY POLICY

At Dirty4x4, we stand behind the quality and reliability of our products. This warranty policy outlines the coverage and conditions for our electric side steps and associated components.
Warranty Period
Dirty4x4 products are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of the original purchase (as shown on proof of sale).
WARRANTY PARTS
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship for the following components:

1. Motor

2. Module (ECU)
    

WARRANTY COVERAGE
During the warranty period, Dirty4x4 will repair or replace, at our discretion, any of the covered components that fail due to manufacturing defects, including:

• Motor not operating

• ECU (Module) not operating
   

EXCLUSIONS – WHAT IS NOT COVERED

The following situations are not covered under this warranty:

1. Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or negligence by the user.

2. Damage resulting from long-term water immersion, collision, or any human factors causing electrical short circuits, ECU failure, or burning.

3. Breakage of the swing bracket not related to material or manufacturing defects.

4. Intentional or accidental short-circuiting of the motor, circuit, or ECU.

5. Damage caused by incorrect wiring or installation (for example, routing wires near high-temperature components such as exhaust systems, rotating shafts, or radiators).

6. Failures or damage caused by accidents, collisions, natural disasters, or other external forces.

7. Forced impact damage is not covered — Dirty4x4 electric side steps are not rock sliders and should not be used as such.

WARRANTY CLAIMS
To make a warranty claim, please contact Dirty4x4 with:

• Order number

• Photos or videos of the issue

• A description of the fault and installation details

Dirty4x4 reserves the right to inspect and test returned products to verify the cause of the fault. Products found to be damaged due to misuse or external causes will not be covered under warranty.
Additional Information

• Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

• Replacement or repaired parts are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

• Dirty4x4 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to product failure or improper use.
